It is situated in a private location on the edge of the beautiful mountain village of Dolwyddelan with its historic castle. The local Spar shop and pub (serving bar meals) are within 5 minutes walking distance. Dolwyddelan is in the heart of Snowdonia at the foot of the imposing Moel Siabod Mountain. Betws-y-Coed is 5 miles away with an abundance of shops and restaurants.

The cottage is the perfect base for sightseeing, walking and the many activities the area has to offer. There are walks to be taken from the door including the beautiful Hidden Valley with waterfalls and views of Snowdon.

Also close by is the Ffestiniog Mountain Railway, Llechwedd Slate Caverns, Portmerion, Bodnant Gardens and many castles.
